29.05.2026 - Call for Abstracts: Water Security & Climate Change Conference

We are pleased to announce that the Call for Abstracts for the Water Security & Climate Change Conference 2026 (WSCC2026) is officially open.

 All relevant information related to the abstract submission are summarized in the call for abstracts.

Submission Instructions

Criteria for Abstract Selection

All abstracts must be submitted online between 28 May and 15 July 2026.

All abstracts must be submitted through the submission portal in text form.

The following information must be included in the submitted abstract:

  • presentation title,
  • all author(s)’ identifying information and institutional affiliations,
  • relevant conference topic,
  • three to five keywords,
  • narrative text (limited to 1800 characters including blanks)

Abstracts will be selected by the scientific committee according to the following criteria:

  • Relevance of the presentation for the conference topics
  • Potential of the presentation to link science, practice, and decision-making
  • Quality of abstract, in terms of content and language
  • Originality and innovation
  • The introduction text should not exceed 25% of the total abstract.
    The methods, results, and problem-solving approach should comprise 75% of the abstract.

Limited Funding for Selected Presenters

Limited travel grants are available provided by the SDGnexus Network to support presenters with citizenships of DAC listed countries. To be considered, applicants must indicate their need for support and provide a brief justification during the abstract submission process. More information in the call for abstracts.

Please note: The WSCC 2026 is planned as an in-person conference. An online participation for presenters is not foreseen.  All presenters should be prepared to be at the conference in Germany to present their content during the conference.
