Prof. Sandra Schwindenhammer, Dr Victoria Dietze and Zacharias Amane discuss the SUSKULT project in the latest Research Reel from JLU’s Office for Sustainability (BfN). The collaborative research project SUSKULT “Agricultural Systems of the Future-2: SUSKULT – Development of a sustainable cultivation system for food in resilient metropolitan regions” is funded by the Federal Ministry of Research, Technology and Space (BMFTR). It aims to contribute to the realisation of circular urban agricultural production in Germany and, by linking the wastewater system with urban food production, to develop innovative technological and policy solutions as well as adaptation strategies for a sustainable agricultural economy.
