Requirements
Admission to the programme is only possible if a training contract has been signed with a partner clinical practice. The main employer for the practical component of the programme is the University Hospital of Giessen and Marburg (UKGM) at its Giessen site.
The following criteria apply for admission to the midwifery programme:
- At least twelve years of general school education or equivalent vocational training in the healthcare sector.
- Good health and the required level of German language proficiency.
- No behaviour that calls into question your suitability for the programme.
The programme is open to all applicants, with no numerus clausus. The prerequisite is an employment contract with the UKGM Giessen.
