Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Bonn


The  is the self-governing organisation for science and research in Germany. It serves all branches of science and the humanities. In organisational terms, the DFG is an association under private law. Its membership consists of German research universities, non-university research institutions, scientific associations and the Academies of Science and the Humanities.

The DFG receives the large majority of its funds from the federal government and the states, which are represented in all grants committees. At the same time, the voting system and procedural regulations guarantee science-driven decisions.

The DFG made the largest funding contribution to the workshop.


Deutsche Gesellschaft für Andrologie

 

The German Society of Andrology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Andrologie, DGA) was founded in 1975 and is an interdisciplinary scientific and medical society. It aims to strengthen and further develop andrology in research and clinical medicine.

The DGA is supporting Molecular Andrology 2019 with travel grants.


Deutsche Gesellschaft für Reproduktionsbiologie

 

Members of the German Society of Reproductive Biology (Deutsche Gesellschaft für Reproduktionsbiologie, DGRM) are coming from all professional groups working in reproductive medicine. It was founded in 1958 as Deutsche Gesellschaft zum Studium der Fertilität und Sterilität and renamed to Deutsche Gesellschaft für Reproduktionsmedizin in 1958. The DGRM is the oldest and strongest German society in reproductive biology.  

The DGRM is supporting Molecular Andrology 2019 with travel grants.


European Academy of Andrology

 

The European Academy of Andrology (EAA) is an international association of scientists and clinicians active or interested in andrology and seated in Münster, GermanyThe aims of the academy are to support science and research, public health, and general, public and specialised education.

The EAA is supporting Molecular Andrology 2019 with the EAA lecture and travel grants.


Von Behring-Röntgen-Foundation, Marburg

 

The von Behring-Röntgen-Foundation supports and promotes the medical faculties of the Justus-Liebig-University Giessen and the Philipps-University Marburg in their network of life sciences and other academic fields: national and international research cooperation; projects for the development of new methods in research and education; young scientists; projects related to applied research; joint projects combining the medical faculties of the universities of Giessen and Marburg and scientific communication through conferences and symposia.

The von Behring-Röntgen-Foundation was founded in 2006 and legally established with a capital of 100 million Euros. With the earnings from its capital more than 100 medical and biomedical research projects were granted and supported with around 20 million Euros until now. Moreover the foundation awards scholarships and travel grants, junior awards and the von Behring-Röntgen-Research-Medal to honor outstanding scientists.


Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation, Mainz


The Boehringer Ingelheim Foundation is an independent, non-profit foundation that is committed to promoting medical, biological, chemical, and pharmaceutical science. Through its various activities, funding programmes, and scientific awards, the foundation wants to promote excellence in basic research in the natural and life sciences. Among its key objectives is to create the freedom scientists need to conduct outstanding research.


 

GALENpharma GmbH, Kiel
