Recommended for all new PhD candidates joining the GCSC and IPP in 2025, this hands-on workshop offers an introduction to reference management using Zotero. Starting early ensures that no valuable knowledge you’ve gathered is lost—during your PhD or even after. We’ll explore key questions such as:
- What is a healthy research hygiene?
- What specific information is required for citations, regardless of style standard?
- How can you efficiently save your thoughts on each article, book chapter, film, website, or novel?
- How do you revisit a topic years later with ease?
Please bring a laptop, as we’ll cover everything from installing Zotero and importing article metadata to tagging your research and generating automatic citations in Word.
