All enrolled students are eligible for a Travel Award. Additionally, further Travel Awards may be accrued by outstanding performance in the MBML examinations. A Call for Applications is made every year in February, for addmission between 1 July and 6 October. The Call for Applications is open throughout the year. Late applications (those received after 6 October) will automatically be considered for the following year‘s intake

Integrated into the MBML Programme is the International Research Training Group 1062 “Signalling mechanisms in lung physiology and disease“ sponsored by the German Research Foundation, the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG). This programme sponsors international exchange between the University of Giessen Lung Center, and partner laboratories in the United States of America.
