The main language of instruction of this course of study is German. All language subjects are also taught in the respective language; almost all English courses are taught in English.
Taught in German. The course of studies Teaching Qualification for Primary Eduaction with the subject "Islamic Religion” trains prospective teachers for teaching at primary schools (classes 1-4); in the subjects the qualification for teaching classes 1-6 can be acquired.
Taught in German. The course of studies Teaching Qualification for Primary Eduaction with the subject "Ethics" trains prospective teachers for teaching at primary schools (classes 1-4); in the subjects the qualification for teaching classes 1-6 can be acquired.

The degree programme in lower-secondary education, or 'L2' as it is known, prepares students to teach Years 5-10 at German Hauptschulen and Realschulen but also the same level at grammar schools (Gymnasien).
