COMPUTIS
The project COMPUTIS aims at the development of new and improved technologies for Molecular Imaging Mass Spectrometry (IMS), enabling new methods in functional genomics, proteomics and metabolomics.
The aim of COMPUTIS is the development, optimization and combination of various mass spectrometric methods, especially SIMS and MALDI. Therefore new desorption, ionization and detection techniques have to be developed. We expect such results so that diagnostic methods for classification of diseases as well as methods for monitoring of therapeutical effects can be enhanced.
This project is a network project with partners in France, in the Netherlands and in Switzerland.
