Admission requirements
The entry prerequisite for a Master's degree course is a Bachelor's degree with a relevant subject profile. M.A. Anglophone Studies is a consecutive M.A. programme requiring subject knowledge from the related B.A. course of studies. Advanced knowledge of English is required for all subjects. Evidence of English skills on Level C1 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages must be provided by one of the following means:
- One of the following standardised language tests on C1 level: Cambridge Certificate – First Certificate in English (FCE) or Test of English as a Foreign Language – TOEFL iBT or International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or UNIcert.
- A university entrance certificate acquired in one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States of America
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree programme in one of the following countries: Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom or United States of America
Please bear in mind that you must present your language certificate before the end of the application deadline. It is not possible to make up the language requirements within the first two semesters; we do not offer conditional enrolment.
