Undergraduate courses/BA
Core of the studies
The studies shall enable the students to understand and formulate the orientating function of the Christian faith for ethical questions. The students are enabled to scientifically reflect on and shape the forms of religious communication, as well as to make fundamental theological topics practically fruitful in theological and religious education. Furthermore, they will be able to apply techniques of methodological information acquisition and evaluation due to their studies.
The range of the individual theological disciplines with their distinct philological, historical, systematical, philosophical, sociological, and cultural scientific aspects, opens up consistent interdisciplinary compatibility. The gender issue is given special consideration in the profile of the Institute for Protestant Theology.
