Section III

This interdisciplinary section concentrates on the often conflicting processes of ‘nationalization’ and ‘internationalization’ which have been increasingly evident in Eastern Europe since the collapse of the communist ‘Eastern bloc’. Since these terms, as well as the key term ’transnationalization’, are key concepts in the cultural and social sciences, this section encourages a close interaction of the various disciplines which participate in the GiZo.
