“Developing the Lung” is a scientific symposium held within the framework of the University of Giessen and Marburg Lung Center (UGMLC) School.
It is the educational aim of this symposium to provide a forum for the presentation, explanation and discussion highlighting roles for the extracellular matrix in driving alveolar development and regeneration.
This symposium consists of a series of lectures by invited speakers, drawn from all over the world, as well as in-house faculty and students engaged in studies which addresses the central theme of the symposium. The list of speakers for this symposium may be found here.
This symposium has a limited capacity of 85 participants. Therefore, pre-registration is required. Requests for information, and registration (all by email), should be directed to the UGMLC administration office, at the following email address:
