“Funding the Lung” is a career development symposium held within the framework of the University of Giessen and Marburg Lung Center (UGMLC) School.
It is the career development aim of this symposium to provide information to students currently completing their doctoral studies, or to junior post-doctoral fellows, about the funding opportunities available for post-doctoral work in Germany and abroad, through leading local sponsorship agencies.
This symposium consists of a series of lectures by invited speakers, drawn from major sponsorship agencies, which address the central theme of the symposium. The list of external invited speakers for this symposium may be found here.
This symposium has a limited capacity of 70 participants. Therefore, pre-registration is required. Requests for information, and registration (all by email), should be directed to the UGMLC administration office, at the following email address:

Registration closes automatically at 23:59 on June 6, 2012. Registration includes two coffee breaks, and lunch on-site. Transport will be provided from Giessen to the symposium venue, and back again.
