Practical Year (PJ) in Gießen
Teilnahme am Praktischen Jahr | Practical Year:
Ausländische Studierende im letzten Studienjahr können sich auf die Teilnahme an unserem Praktischen Jahr bewerben und sich dabei durch Erasmus+ fördern lassen. Wir empfehlen die Bewerbungsunterlagen mindestens 10 Monate im Voraus einzureichen.
If you are a student in the last year of medical school, you can apply for the Erasmus + scholarship to do the “practical year” in Gießen. We highly recommend that you hand in all the application documents at least 10 months before.
Ein Tertial des PJ dauert immer 16 Wochen und beginnt und endet an einem bestimmten Datum. Dauer und Beginn des Praktikums können nicht geändert werden.
The practical year in Germany is divided in “Tertiale”. One “Tertial” lasts 16 weeks and ALWAYS begins/ ends at a certain date. Please note that you cannot change these dates or the duration of the practical trainings!

Bewerbungsunterlagen | Application Documents

Eine Bewerbung sollte spätestens 6-8 Monate vor dem Aufenthalt bei uns eingehen. Nach Prüfung Ihrer Bewerbungsunterlagen müssen Sie den PJ-Anmeldebogen ausfüllen und per E-Mail einreichen (s.u.). Im Laufe der Bewerbung werden weitere Unterlagen eingefordert.
Please hand in your application at least 6-8 month before starting your practical year in Gießen. After we checked your application documents, you will have to hand in the "PJ-Anmeldebogen". In the course of the application process you will be asked to hand in some additional documents.
