Graduation and Welcome Ceremony 2025
On Thursday, 20 November 2025 the GGL Welcome and Graduation Ceremony took place. Congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2025! We are happy that we could meet 39 of our 44 new graduates in person during this beautiful ceremony. We hope that you will be well prepared for your next steps on the academic ladder and we wish you success, joy and endurance for the path that lies before you.
It was a great evening with many highlights including the Welcome for 57 new GGL members, the commencement speeches and the festive handover of the certificates. The commencement speech by Prof. Dr. Andreas Krueger encouraged everybody to take their place as a scientist in society. Graduate Fabian Mitze, represented the graduating class and shared his own GGL adventure. The Multicultural Orchestra Giessen lead by Georgi Kalaidjiev created a wonderful atmosphere for the festive event.
