Graduation and Welcome Ceremony 2023
On Tuesday, 28 November 2023 the GGL Welcome and Graduation Ceremony took place.
Our warmest congratulations to our Graduating Class of 2023! This year’s graduates joined us at the peak of the COVID pandemic, and we are happy that we could meet 25 of our 30 new graduates in person during this beautiful ceremony. This was a great evening with many highlights including the Welcome for 48 new GGL members, the awarding of the Dr. Herbert Stolzenberg Publication Award for Research in the Life Sciences and the festive handover of the certificates. The commencement speech by Prof. Thaqif El Khassawna was truly inspirational and Svenja Gramberg who represented the graduating class gave her talk an experimental twist. We were also blessed with the beautiful music of the Multicultural Orchestra Giessen.
