Call for Applications
The International Giessen Graduate Centre for the Life Sciences (GGL) invites applicants for
Doctoral Programmes in the Life Sciences
The Doctoral Programmes consist of an experimental project combined with a three-year interdisciplinary graduate course curriculum leading to a dissertation. Each doctoral researcher will be supervised by two professors from different faculties and will benefit from our Doctoral Development Programme. Seminars and courses are conducted in English; German language courses are offered for international students. Depending on the project and the candidate´s qualifications, students may receive a stipend and may be eligible to register for one of the doctoral degrees offered in Life Sciences at the Justus Liebig University Giessen (Ph.D., Dr. med., Dr. med. dent., Dr. biol. hom., Dr. med. vet., Dr. biol. anim., Dr. rer. nat., Dr. agr. or Dr. oec. troph).
Applicants may choose from one of our ten interdisciplinary research sections. Applicants looking for open doctoral project my consult our current list of open projects here. A Master's degree or equivalent is required for the admission.
