GGS-Workshop: Academic Publishing and Reviewing in Management and Work/Organizational/Social Psychology Research

Objectives

For scholars, publishing one’s results is an essential part of the research process and a key building block of one’s academic career. However, the procedures, rules, and success factors for publishing in international top journals are often unclear – especially for early career researchers. Similarly, reviewing for international journals is an important element of academic work, but early career scholars often experience considerable uncertainty about how to navigate this process. Hence, a key goal of this workshop is to enable the participants to better understand the publication process in international top journals and to develop their own successful publication strategies. Moreover, the workshop aims to acquaint participants with key aspects of the reviewing process in such journals. The workshop focuses on publishing and reviewing strategies for international top journals in the fields of management, work/organizational/social psychology, and related areas.
