Objectives:
Learn how to apply data analysis and techniques from machine learning (ML) to large datasets in Python
Get a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and algorithms
apply these techniques to your own research data.
Content:
„matplotlib“ for visualization
"NumPy" and "pandas" for handling and manipulation of large datasets and time series
"scikit-learn" for machine learning in Python
Object classification
Regression
Clustering of data and dimensionality reduction
This course is a follow-up course to Python for Beginners. You don´t necessarily need to complete the beginners course, but you do need basic knowledge of the basic functions of python as taught in the first course.
