Der Geschäftsführende Direktor des GGS lädt alle Mitglieder, d.h. Professor:innen, Postdocs und Promovierende der Fachbereiche 01, 02 und 03 sowie angrenzender Fachbereiche im Bereich des GGS-Profils zur Mitgliederversammlung ein.

Im Rahmen der Mitgliederversammlung wird auch das GGS-Direktorium für eine Amtszeit von zwei Jahren neu gewählt. GGS-Mitglieder aller Statusgruppen, Professor:innen, Postdocs und Promovierende, sind herzlich eingeladen, an der Versammlung teilzunehmen und jeweils die Vertreter:innen für Ihre Gruppe zu wählen.

Alle Professor:innen und jungen Wissenschaftler:innen am GGS sind aufgerufen, für ihre jeweilige Statusgruppe zu kandidieren und sich zur Wahl für das Direktorium aufstellen lassen.
Außerdem gibt es noch die Position einer Gleichstellungsbeauftragten zu besetzen, die statusgruppenunabhängig dem Direktorium angehört und beratend zur Seite steht.
Wir möchten vor allem junge Wissenschaftler:innen dafür begeistern, im GGS-Direktorium Erfahrungen in der Gremienarbeit zu sammeln und Einblicke in hochschulpolitische Prozesse zu erhalten.
Das GGS-Direktorium ist das höchste Gremium des GGS, ist für die strategische Ausrichtung des GGS zuständig und trifft Entscheidungen, die grundlegende Bedeutung für das Zentrum haben. Im Direktorium sind sechs Sitze an Professor:innen, zwei Sitze an Postdocs und zwei Sitze an Promovierende zu vergeben. Die Gleichstellungsbeauftragte und die Geschäftsführer:innen sind in beratender Funktion Teil des Direktoriums.

The Director of the GGS invites all members, i.e. professors, postdocs and doctoral candidates of departments 01, 02 and 03 as well as related departments in the area of the GGS profile to the General Assembly.
 
The GGS Managing Committee is also elected for a two-year term of office at the General Assembly. GGS members of all status groups, professors, postdocs and doctoral candidates, are cordially invited to attend the meeting and elect the representatives for their group.
 
All professors and young scientists at the GGS are invited to run for their respective status group and stand for election to the Board of Directors.
In addition, there is still the position of an Equal Opportunities Officer to be filled, who is a member of the Managing Committee regardless of status group and is available in an advisory capacity.
We would like to encourage young academics in particular to gain experience in committee work on the GGS Managing Committee and gain insights into university policy processes.
The GGS Managing Committee is the highest body of the GGS, is responsible for the strategic direction of the GGS and makes decisions that are of fundamental importance to the centre. Six seats on the Managing Committee are allocated to professors, two seats to postdocs and two seats to doctoral students. The Equal Opportunities Officer and the Managing Director are part of the Managing Committee in an advisory capacity.
