15.-16.10.2024: Call for papers: International Conference LANGUAGE: CLASSIC – MODERN – POSTMODERN
The conference will be held in a hybrid format at the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine). Conference organisers: National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy (Ukraine), GiZo/Justus Liebig University Giessen (Germany), and O.O. Potebnia Institute of Linguistics of the National Academy of Science of Ukraine (Ukraine).
The conference includes a panel discussion “Urban Language Space” which aims to intensify
research into urban oral and written speech in different regions of Ukraine, in particular, the problems
of the functioning of standard Ukrainian, territorial and social varieties of the Ukrainian language,
their interaction with each other and with the languages of other nations.

participants.
