Certificate Acquisition:
If you wish to complete the entire tutor qualification and earn 1 ECTS credit, or obtain the certificate for the qualification as a tutor, you must complete the following three elements and concurrently create a tutor qualification portfolio:
- Introductory Training
- Practice Coaching
- 3 Workshops OR 2 Workshops & 1 Peer/Expert Observation
- Check out - Reflection Event
These elements support you as tutors in preparing for your work and accompany you during the exercise of your duties.
In addition to the three components, you create a portfolio [Link to materials on the download page]. We understand this as a reflection tool that shows your competence acquisition and presents your learning biography. You will connect the content of the introductory training, the practice coaching, and the workshops or insights from the observations with your own subject-specific tutorial. The portfolio is graded as "pass" or "fail".
Recognition as an Academic Achievement - "Non-Subject Specific Competencies" Module
Participation in all three elements of the tutor qualification with the development of the portfolio is designed as a module in the area of "career-oriented competencies" and can be credited in all study programmes where ECTS credits in non-subject specific competencies can be earned. Here, the tutor qualification module comprises 1 ECTS credit.
With the restructuring of our programme, we have made it possible for you to have our module "AfK-No. 589 Tutor Qualification" credited towards the "Additional Certificate in Team Skills and Process Design".
