Zeughaus
The centrally located historic Zeughaus and the neighbouring New Palace in the middle of the city centre are home to parts of the Department of Geography and several institutes of Faculty 09 - Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management. The Botanical Garden is also located in the centre of Giessen. It is the oldest botanical garden in Germany and is still located at its original site.
