The PreProChem Programme
The ‘PreProChem’ pre-doctoral programme was developed for excellent students who wish to shorten their time to doctorate in chemistry by means of a correspondingly demanding course of study and to enable exclusive research training through early involvement in the scientific work of a working group.
In the first year of study, the programme includes participation in compulsory modules of the Master's degree course in Chemistry - with simultaneous involvement in the research of a selected working group in the form of a two-semester laboratory module. The third semester consists of a scientific project module, which is completed with a written report. Over the course of the next three months, the applicant can take the oral doctoral aptitude test.

If you successfully complete the requirements for a doctorate within the PreProChem programme, please submit the relevant application form together with the general application documents to the Examinations Office.
