During this event, Prof. Dr. Andrea Gawrich, Chair for International Integration with a special focus on Eastern Europe, will be joined by Marianna Fakhurdinova, Associate Fellow at the New Europe Center (Ukraine), Fulbright Scholar at Center for European Policy Analysis (USA) at the online panel discussion. The event is part of a broader initiative called Europawoche. It is scheduled to take place on 21st of May at 14:00. The esteemed speakers will offer their valuable insights on the pressing topic: "European security amid Russo-Ukrainian war – lessons (un)learned?” 

The Russian invasion of Ukraine aims to alter the established European security architecture. How is the war in Ukraine shaping European security dynamics? What challenges does it present for the European Union's security and defense field? Can Ukraine's war experience benefit EU defense policies? The audience will have the opportunity to share their thoughts on the topic and participate in an open discussion.
