Since May 2026, the Working Group Special Educational Psychology has been led by Prof. Dr. Friederike Blume. Her main areas
of focus include self-regulation & ADHD, individual learning prerequisites, and the adaptive design of school learning environments.
02.05.2025 | New Publication: Review & EMERGE Model Published
In a recent publication in Educational Psychology Review, we introduce the EMERGE model. The work is based on a systematic review
of theoretical and empirical research on executive functions, metacognition, self-regulation, and self-regulated learning. The aim of the
paper is to theoretically integrate these constructs, which have often been examined separately. Link to the publication:
