Schlossgasse
Additional rooms are located in another building, approximately 60 meters from the Neues Schloss building, in Schlossgasse 7.
The three upper floors house the offices of three professors and their staff. The lower two floors contain the geoinformatics and remote sensing departments, several computer rooms, a seminar room, and the cartography department.

On the ground floor of the building in Schlossgasse 7, there is a computer room and a seminar room, which are available exclusively for courses and project work. The physical geography laboratory and the department's rock collection are also located there.

On the first floor, there is a large computer room, SG-PC2/3, which is not only used for teaching purposes but is also open to students for academic purposes. The offices of Prof. Dr. Hennemann ("Economic Geography" research group) and his staff are also located here, as are the Geoinformatics and Remote Sensing, Cartography, and System Administration offices.

The offices of the "Physical Geography" research group, headed by Prof. Dr. Fuchs, are located on the second floor of the Schlossgasse building.

Next to the offices of the “Spatial Planning and Urban Geography” research group, headed by Prof. Dr. Diller, the seminar room Sg-S2 is located on the top floor on the left-hand side.

- from Dortmund, take the A45 (Exit - Wetzlar-Ost)>B49>B429 (Exit GI-West, Stadtmitte), to enter Giessen via "Nordanlage"
- from Erfurt or Kassel, take the A5 (Exit - Reiskirchen)>B49 to enter Giessen via "Berliner Platz"
- from Frankfurt, take the A5 (from Gambacher Kreuz)>A45 (from Giessener Suedkreuz)>A485 (Dreieck Bergwerkswald)>B49>B429 (Exit GI-West, Stadtmitte) to enter Giessen via "Nordanlage"
