Workshops on “Corporate Global Agriculture” and “Agroecological and Organic Food Systems” at Sustainable Food Systems Symposium in Gießen, 7 – 8 February 2020

10 February 2020 - Several team members presented their research in progress during two workshops at the Symposium on Sustainable Food Systems – Going Beyond Food Security, organised by Faculty 09 - Agricultural Sciences, Nutritional Sciences, and Environmental Management. The symposium took place in Universitätshauptgebäude (University Main Building), Ludwigstraße 23 in Gießen from 7 to 8 February 2020. Team members spoke about claims of land grabbing in Germany, land reform in Ukraine and cotton cluster formation in Uzbekistan. The workshop on agroecology was organised jointly with the Professorship of Organic Farming of Giessen University.
