Identification and characterisation of causal variants for hereditary disorders in domestic animals
e.g. coat and/or eye colours associated with deafness in alpacas and cats, feather hoods associated with brain abnormalities in ducks
Identification of causal variants for desirable breeding traits in domestic animals, e.g. fleece type in Huacaya and Suri alpacas, horn status in sheep and goats
