As part of a joint initiative between the project Network for Impactful Digital Teaching Skills (NIDIT) and the International Doctoral Program (IPP) "Literary and Cultural Studies", NIDIT lecturers Anna Jäger and Richard Vargas (International Teaching Training Team) will host the workshop “Basic Didactic Principles and Teaching Methods for IPP members”.

This practical training is a preparatory teaching session for participants of the IPP workshop series. The aim of this workshop is threefold: firstly, it puts forward the discussion of teaching methods and approaches. Secondly, it centers the implementation of interactive tools for teaching and learning processes that IPP participants can use on either digital or face-to-face teaching environments. Thirdly, this workshop seeks to broaden participants’ teaching skills to better prepare them to face potential challenges when teaching in different formats.

Speakers: Anna Jäger and Richard Vargas from the JLU - Network for Impactful Digital International Teaching Skills – NIDIT.

The IPP Workshop Series

It offers IPP members the opportunity to lead a workshop on current concepts and methods in the Study of culture. The aim of the series is to create an interactive discussion group for doctoral candidates and students. The topics can range from general introductions to various "schools" of literary and cultural theory to concepts, methods and topics of literary and cultural theory.
