GCSC Opening Workshop at Rauischholzhausen Castle

Starting your academic journey at a new institution comes with a new environment, a new infrastructure and especially many new faces and opportunities to connect, collaborate and coordinate on joint interests, ideas, and initiatives. As the second traditional event for the new doctoral candidates, the GCSC Opening Workshop will provide a jump start to do so. And it does so by bringing us back to the Castle of Rauischolzhausen.

The two-day workshop will give the new cohort the opportunity to get to know each other better, personally and academically, and to develop ideas for the joint PhD journey. Not only will the doctoral candidates get a chance to creatively present their dissertation projects to each other, but they will also have the opportunity to explore shared research interests, develop ideas for joint projects, and present the output of their group work.
