Come along for a little active break to kick off the GCSC team’s participation in this year’s “STADTRADELN” (city cycling) campaign! Following the day’s colloquia, we’ll take a leisurely cycle around campus with a quick look at the new e-bike charging stations and a dip into the forest down by the Klingelbach. Bring your own bike or pick up one of the conveniently located Nextbikes to join in (45 minutes free with student account).
All cycling abilities are welcome.
STADTRADELN is a three-week cycling campaign aimed at promoting sustainable mobility and reducing CO2 emissions. After a phenomenal debut with the first ever GCSC Stadtradeln team placing third in the JLU ranking last year, we are eager to follow up on that success! As part of this initiative, we will be cycling as much as possible during the challenge period (26 May to 15 June). Every kilometre counts – especially if you would otherwise have used a car.
