PhDnet Partnerships

The European PhDnet in Literary and Cultural Studies is built on a long-standing commitment to transnational collaboration and shared academic values. Founded as a network that connects leading institutions across Europe, the PhDnet offers doctoral researchers an environment in which intellectual exchange, mobility, and joint research traditions actively shape their academic trajectories. Its partner universities form the backbone of this collaborative spirit: they make possible the programme’s international orientation, support cotutelle and jointly supervised dissertations, and contribute to a structured framework of mentoring and academic training.

Through these partnerships, PhDnet researchers benefit from regular symposia, rotating conferences, master classes, and other events hosted across the network. These shared activities cultivate a dynamic research community that extends well beyond institutional boundaries and fosters a genuinely European culture of doctoral education.
