It is one of the GGS‘ central objectives to advance research of excellence. 
In a globalized research landscape, this calls for an international orientation of research and qualification activities and the creation of conducive framework conditions for efforts of internationalisation, e.g. by expanding and reinforcing international networks and improving the international mobility of junior scientists.
