Querying Prior Knowledge
Background knowledge is a decisive factor in the context of students' learning success. How well new content is captured by learners depends, among other things, on the extent to which they can link the information to their existing knowledge assets. Various authoring tools and applications are available to homogenise and query prior knowledge.

E-Test In order to test or activate existing knowledge, digitally supported tests, so-called e-tests, are suitable. E-tests can be used as an internet-based self-assessment tool, as learning support, access tests or placement tests. These formative tests accompany the learning process of the students and can be evaluated automatically. ILIAS and Stud.IP offer a wide range of possibilities for implementing an e-test.
