Master Class 2014

A Master Class concerning the recent approaches of narrative research was being held at the Justus-Liebig University in Gießen from december 11th until december 13th 2014. The event was hosted and organized by the DAAD network "Cultural contact and conflict zones in Eastern Europe", Giessen Center for Eastern European Studies (GiZo) and the International Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture (GCSC).
The participants arrived on Thursday, december 11th 2014. The event was opened on that day with a narratological Keynote Lecture. The Master Class was held on december 12th 2014. Within the framework of the Master Class were ongoing dissertation projects presented and discussed, which were dealing with literary, artistic, media and linguistic aspects of storytelling, based on recent narratological concepts in accordance with a thematic reference to eastern Europe.
