An international, interdisciplinary team of researchers led by Prof. Dr. Christoph Müller is on an expedition in the Brazilian rainforest from August 26 to September 24, 2023

The research trip, which has been in preparation for years, has two objectives: on the one hand, the so-called terra preta soil will be explored, which has special carbon storage properties and is also very fertile; on the other hand, scientific forensic methods to combat illegal logging will be developed.
