Dynamics of surface reactions

A second focus is on cluster-induced desorption phenomena and their use as an efficient and extremely soft desorption/ionization technique in mass spectrometry. We are interested in both, the underlying processes as well as applications in bio and surface analysis. Desorption/ionization of intact biomolecules as large as insulin as well as the investigation of surface reactions of larger (bio-)molecules in real time are possible.
