Hessen State Cooperations
Exchange semester in the USA or Australia without tuition fees
Every year, scholarships for study places (one semester) are awarded by the Hessian state government at our outstanding partner universities in Wisconsin (USA), Massachusetts (USA) and Queensland (Australia).
USA
The application deadline for JLU students is 15 November each year.

Wisconsin
Since 1998, there has been a student exchange programme within the framework of the state university cooperation with the state of Wisconsin. Every year, Hessian students can apply for a study place (one to two semesters) at one of the 13 universities within the University of Wisconsin System.

Since 2004, the state of Hesse has maintained the state university cooperation with the state of Massachusetts. Every year, Hessian students can apply for a study place (one semester) at one of the four universities within the University of Massachusetts System.

Australia
The application deadline for JLU students is 31 May each year.

Queensland
Since 2004, the State of Hesse has maintained the state university cooperation with Queensland, Australia.
