EUPeace – European University for Peace, Justice and Inclusive Societies
EUPeace stands for the European university alliance European University for Peace, Justice and Inclusive Societies.
Within the framework of EUPeace, we at JLU aim to grow together in the long term with eight partner universities from across Europe. This collaboration spans all areas, from education and teaching to research and administration. The cooperation is intended to promote the core values of peace, justice and inclusive societies.
Our objectives
- More peaceful: As students, lecturers, researchers and staff members, we take a transdisciplinary approach to exploring the conditions required for peaceful coexistence and ways in which conflicts can be transformed.
- More just: We address the question of how a more just European higher education system can look like.
- More inclusive: We work towards creating more inclusive spaces at our partner universities.
- Together: All of this can only be achieved if we act together as a trans-European community in close cooperation with our partners.
At EUPeace, we bring together all academic disciplines and fields – from the humanities and social sciences to the natural and life sciences and engineering. Everyone is welcome to get involved! How? You can find out more on the target group pages below.
