For over 25 years, Europe has been supporting the Erasmus+ programme, which has enabled over 3 million European students to spend part of their studies at another university in Europe. Erasmus+ is now extending this opportunity and enabling mobility projects from other countries or to other countries around the world. Mobility projects for staff (for teaching and training purposes) are also funded. The programme not only enables German participants to spend time abroad; in particular, it also aims to attract the best foreign minds to Europe. Due to the relatively high scholarships, a high demand and a demanding selection process can be expected.
