Research Infrastructure Database of Central Hessen
What is FinD Mi?
The FinD Mi project is based at the Research Campus of Central Hessen and is being funded by the Hessian Ministry of Science and Research, Arts and Culture (HMWK) during its establishment phase (2022–2026). JLU includes all research infrastructure valued at €25,000 or more in the database. At present, all existing equipment is being gradually integrated into it. New research infrastructures are already being considered for integration as part of the procurement process.
What are the benefits of FinD Mi?
Access to the latest research equipment can be difficult and expensive. FinD Mi provides a central platform that enables researchers from the affiliated universities, partner institutions, and other interested parties to search specifically for scientific instruments, services, and technologies at the three universities in Central Hessen and, in the future, also at regional non-university research institutions. This increases efficiency and sustainability through improved equipment utilization, drives cutting-edge research advances in Central Hessen, and facilitates the emergence of new synergies and collaborations.
