Research Infrastructures

Research infrastructure refers to facilities, resources, and related services that scholars use for research in their respective fields. The staff division StW is responsible for the strategic direction of research infrastructures at JLU and for their continued development. In this regard, the definition of research infrastructures from the German Science Council serves as a guide, dividing them into four categories (large-scale equipment and instruments, knowledge resources, information and communication structures, and social research infrastructures).
