Post-Doc Scholarships
The German Academy of Natural Scientists 'Leopoldina' sponsors select scholars from Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in a scholarship program. With the Leopoldina post-doc scholarship, you can be supported in your career development. Outstanding junior researchers under the age of 36 with doctorates from natural science and medical fields are accepted into the Leopoldina funding program. The support facilitates complete work on an independent research project at a renowned research establishment for two to three continuous years. Its goal is to deepen knowledge and skills in the respective specialty disciplines, but not necessarily to qualify one to become a professor.
