Overview
The Master's programme Crop Science deals with the fundamentals and interrelationships of the production of qualitatively valuable plant feed or food as well as renewable raw materials on a national as well as on an international level. This includes questions of plant nutrition, breeding, production technology, preventive protection against diseases, the preservation and improvement of the quality of the products, as well as the adaptation of agriculture to the constantly changing climatic conditions, among other things. Teaching and research is conducted in the areas of:
- Applied Microbiology
- Plant cultivation and breeding
- Plant nutrition
- Phytopathology
