Teaching Futures

Under the motto ‘Partners in Progress’, the event provided a platform for anyone who wanted to play an active role in shaping the future of teaching and learning at universities. Lecturers, students and other interested parties from universities were invited to come together to explore new perspectives and exchange ideas

Teaching Futures took place as an annual event. In previous years, this included:

Teaching Futures was an event organised by the NIDIT joint project of the three Hessian universities Justus Liebig University Giessen (lead), Philipps University Marburg and Technical University of Central Hesse.

Participation in the event was free of charge. Current information and reviews were provided via the NIDIT channels, on LinkedIn and Instagram, and via the media library.

Hochschuldidaktisches Netzwerk Mittelhessen (HDM)

The team from the Hochschuldidaktisches Netzwerk Mittelhessen (HDM) will be on site to provide information about the ‘Competence for Professional University Teaching’ certificate programme for all teaching staff at JLU, UMR and THM. Visitors will gain an insight into the wide range of further education programmes and certificate opportunities in a joint exchange about good teaching.

LevelUp: Serious Games in Higher Education

In the LevelUp: Serious Games in Higher Education showroom, visitors can gain an insight into the work of the project and the serious games developed in-house. The games presented include Merchants of Istanbul and Dagmar's Digital Day, which can be tried out directly on site. The LevelUp team will also be providing insights into further developments and cordially invites you to join in the professional dialogue on site.
