Awards and Honors

: The coordination of awards and honors at JLU serves to specifically recognize outstanding scientific achievements and exceptional commitment in teaching, research, and university development. By providing organizational and substantive support for nomination processes—such as for internal awards or external funding prizes—outstanding scientific engagement is acknowledged and strategically promoted.

The focus is on the administrative management of the announcement, selection, and conferment of central university awards. These include, among others, the Teaching Award, the Research Award, and awards for early-career researchers. The goal is to create incentives for excellence and foster a performance-oriented environment.
