Project portfolio management helps JLU strategically align its 'DigITal' projects, use resources efficiently, and minimize project risks.

This provides a basis for decision-making to ensure that strategically effective projects are implemented and offers management and project teams transparency regarding ongoing and planned IT and digitalization activities.
The Digital Board is a central IT committee at JLU and is responsible, among other things, for overseeing, prioritizing, and supporting decision-making regarding ongoing and planned IT and digital transformation projects in the DigITal project portfolio. The operational tasks of DigITal project portfolio management—including communication, project registration, and portfolio development—have been delegated to a working group consisting of the CIO, the head of IT strategy, and StW.
Submitting Digital Projects
Projects are submitted using standardized project briefs and are evaluated and categorized based on defined criteria. This creates a transparent and traceable basis to decide on strategically relevant digital transformation initiatives.
Project managers who have not yet created a project profile should contact digitalprojekte via email. Once you have registered, you will be granted access to our internal Collab area, where you can edit and add to the prepared project profile.
