GGS-Summer Event 2026

Registration for the Summer Event until June 7, 2026

This year's GGS summer event will be launched on June 10, 2026, starting at 6 p.m. with welcoming remarks by the Vice President of the JLU, Professor Dr Karsten Krüger, and the Director of the GGS, Professor Dr Peter Tillmann.

Afterwards, the early career researchers Julia Schwab and Katrin Strobehn will share insights into their ongoing research.

Also, there will be a guest lecture again. This year we are pleased to welcome Prof Dr Jan Häusser for his lecture. He will speak on: "Soziale Resourcen: Warum dazugehören wichtig ist" (= "Social resources: Why belonging matters").

After a short discussion in the plenary, the participants may continue this at a festive standing reception with food and drinks. In case of good weather, this will take place in the foyer of the auditorium as well as at the forecourt of the auditorium. Our guest speaker this year will be Prof Dr Jan Häusser, who will give a lecture analysing the the importance and consequences of 'belonging' in our society: Soziale Ressourcen: Warum dazugehören wichtig ist.
