Collaborating Partners

The collaborating partners support and accompany the core institutions in the accomplishment of the set objectives. We have invited universities, research centers, and in order to link science to policy and development, we have also invited relevant non-academic actors from the countries of the core partners.

 
 

German-Colombian Peace Institute (CAPAZ)

 

The German Colombian Peace Institute (CAPAZ) is a Centre of Excellence in Research and Teaching supported by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) that began its work in 2017. It establishes networks between universities, research centers, civil society organizations, and government institutions to promote the exchange of experiences and knowledge on peacebuilding.

CEMarin Corporation Center of Excellence in Marine Science

 

Founded by Colombian and German universities in 2009, CEMarin is an international non-profit organization that aims at answering fundamental environmental and socio-economical questions related to marine ecosystems in Latin America. It is a Centre of Excellence in Research and Teaching funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

GIZ is a service provider in the field of international cooperation for sustainable development and international education work. It was established in 2011 by merging three German international development organizations and its main commissioning party is the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
